Karela Stir Fry wth Kumro or Kaddu Recipe or Bitter Gourd with Pumpkin Stir Fry






This is a quick stir fry recipe of Karela.Try it as a side dish with Paratha or Rice.

Preparation Time - 10 min
Cooking Time - 10 min

Ingredients:-

1. Bitter gourd sliced ( 1 and 1/2 cup )
2. Pumpkin /Kaddu/Kumro ( 1 cup )
3. Salt - less than 1/2 teaspoon or taste.
4. Oil - Mustard oil or Vegetable oil 3-4 teaspoon.
5. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon.

Preparation :-

1.Wash the Karela/Bitter Gourd  and Kumro/Pumpkin then chop all the vegetables and keep aside.

Cooking :-

1. Take an utensil ( I used non stick ) and then add oil. To it add the karela or bitter gourd and turmeric powder and fry .Cover it to quicken the process.
2. When karela/bitter gourd is half done then add the Pumpkin or Kumro because pumpkin takes less time to cook.
3. Add salt and continue cooking till veggies are fried as per your taste.
