Mexican Guacamole / (Mashed Avocado)

This healthy fruit is mashed with tangy lemon,tomato and crunchy onion along with cilantro and chillies and goes well with bread toast .


Preparation time - 8 min
Cooking time - 5 min

Ingredients

1. One Avocado
2. Half Tomato
3. 1/4 th of a big Lime
4. Few springs of Cilantro
5. 1 fresh chilly
6. 1/4 th of a big Onion
7. Salt as per taste
8. Olive oil about a tea spoon
9. 1/8th teaspoon crushed/minced garlic( very little ) or else it will overpower( if you like garlic )

Preparation and Cooking

1. Scoop out the Avocado in a bowl after cutting and throwing off the seed .
2. You can keep the Avocado skin for garnishing.
3. Chop off rest of the ingredients(onion, chilly, tomato and cilantro ) into very small pieces.
4. Mash the avocado as per your consistency ,I like mine to be kept little chunky.
5. Next mix all the chopped ingredients(onion,chilly,tomato and cilantro ) with the mashed Avocado,add lime juice,crushed garlic and season with salt as per your taste and about a teaspoon of olive oil and you are done.
6. You can serve the mashed Avocado in the empty Avocado skin as I have done with toasted bread or as a dip with Nachos (the Mexican way ).
7. This dish is super easy as no stove top cooking is required.
